Welcome everyone! I’m so happy this is being utilized. A little background on me, I got my Bachelor’s when I was 20 and immediately went into both Child & Adult Protection careers. I then worked as a crisis counselor and a behavioral health specialist, and now I’m 26 at Monroe Plan for Medical Care working on expanding our Health Home Program into a new county where I’m our only employee!! My goals are to grow financially so that I can give back to our underserved populations even more.

Thank you! It’s hard not to compare sometimes and it’s easy to get discouraged. It’s not always an easy path esp if you have big financial goals. I’m very open to learning and taking advice from people that are doing this work successfully :)

I have to say, your enthusiasm is inspiring! I love hearing about your goals & I hope you continue to share more about how it's going! :) It's nice to meet you!

Wow thank you!! I never thought I could be inspirational, I feel like I’m trudging through the mud just like everyone else.

This is so great. I love that you are working to serve those that need it most. One thing that really bothers me in society today is how hard it is to find a therapist. Usually by the time someone is reaching out, they are desparate and the insurance companies make it so impossible! Glad to hear you are working with those who need it the nost!

Yes! Thank you :)

Nice to have you in our bowl : ) Thanks for sharing. Would love to hear more about everyone's background and how they got into this field. I know it can be a struggle sometimes, for many reasons, but I love that so many of us still have the same passion that brought us here in the beginning

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.
