Feel like we should clarify what D1 is, no?
Director (above manager - ie PwC’s Director is Above SM)
or Director (colloquially referred to as manager - ie FTI & EY have that above Senior) or
Director (in lieu of SM)…
7 YoE is normally M2/3 or SM1 at most shops, if starting from Staff… or SM3 if starting at Senior.
Sorry to rub off like this ! Just confused and will probably improve the output of your post with ambiguity removed
That is very insightful. I keep forgetting how corporate america keeps changing titles for no real reason. SM1 I guess would be one option. Or VP1 at other places. It’s crazy out there.
D1s just got a scholarship when I was in school, but now some are millionaires..crazy
Im a D0. The “0” stands for “zero shot of ever making it past director”
MCOL D1 (SM1) is 195k
Guessing around 170-185k base range. Maybe 10-20% bonus.
MCOL - M1s in PwC FDD pull 163 with that. M2s are at 171. Would hope higher for SM level.
