Finished interviewing for an ATS role at Microsoft Wednesday. The interviewers said they were recommending me but I haven’t gotten any feedback from the recruiter. I’m at PwC S& and in consulting I always got at least a verbal yes day of or next day after interviewing. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Do you get a verbal first or do they wait to have a contract?

Hi! I’m new here.
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Specialist executives do not manage engagements and cannot commit the firm. They are typically ex senior year execs from industry known for their relationships and typically drive eminence, sales, bring senior level relationships, and provide subject matter expertise on specific sets of clients. Usually much higher ranked in industry than someone we’d bring in as a specialist leader (similar job responsibilities but much higher expectations on outcomes)
Non equity as they are on the specialist track
Yea very high level people. In federal, you’ll see specialist execs who were secretaries and directors of departments and major offices/divisions
