Been on the job hunt for the past 3 months. Applied to 200+. Interviewed with 15 companies (big tech + mid sized) but failing at either hiring manager round or ghosted after onsite. I’ve spent hours everyday applying, researching companies and prepping for interviews, watching videos, reading books, but just can’t seem to close the deal. Currently making 125k salary with 10k bonus at essentially an assistant controller role. Client wants to hire me and is asking for my compensation range. What is the market rate for an assistant controller in a large private company? They are really really wanting to hire me and willing to pay a little more.
