Anyone aware of TCS hiring process? How many days normally they take for the process. I had an interview yesterday both technical and Managerial. After that HR confirmed me over mail that I have cleared the interview rounds and asked to fill all the details on their portal. However, I haven't got any update today so I am just curious how many days they normally take to verify docs and proceed to HR discussion?Tata Consultancy Wipro Infosys IBM Accenture

My wife and I have attended a few presentations in the past, including with Marriott and Hilton. The economics were always tempting but not close enough. Last year we actually signed with one while on property for 10 nights in Jamaica.
After initial signing, they had to prepare the final paperwork which we would review and sign a few hours later. However, when we got that final paperwork and I started reviewing the fine print, there were multiple things that we were told which were not reflected in the contract. Something major things were missing and others were different. Things like some lifetime benefits that actually expire in 3 years unless you upgrade your contract in the future.
After pointing things out and talking with a few managers, the best they could offer was for us to “trust them” despite the contract! We proceeded to refuse to sign, cancel the deal and walk out.
Moral of the story is that they can effectively say anything they want to you in the presentation, even if it is false. They aren’t giving you clear answers by design. The contract is all that matters. Don’t trust a word they say.
This is such a helpful response. Thank you so much for sharing. I always felt it seemed too good to be true so I must be missing something. One thing i thought was annual dues, that I’ll have to pay forever, but it doesn’t allow me to commit to a number or a % increase. It’s just a variable, made up number that can be increased each year, forever.
Big no for any of those time shares. Read up about them on reddit.
+1 to what’s being said. Avoid.
