what do you use to keep your execs organized. I support 3 execs and since working from home things have gotten much busier and without being there to talk to them, it is all chat or calls when I can get time with them. any and all suggestions would be welcomed. thanks! Happy Friday by the way!

I've been scheduling regular 30 minute, either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the person, video chats with the executives I support to give us some time to chat through upcoming schedules and needs. That's really helped keep me sane during this wfh period.

I second the above. I have recurring 30 minute calls with my executive twice a week to review calendars and work through upcoming projects and support needs. Having weekly touch bases helps a ton.

Have you tried OneNote? You can make to do lists with boxes, assign things to your execs, etc. You can have one for each exec! We love it! Look on you tube to see more ways to use it. Good luck!

Are you the type of person who likes to write? You might find it useful to keep one note book for everything. Write their name in front of whatever it is that needs to be done, and when you are done with it just put a check on the left hand side. Something like a bullet journal but for work. It might be something to consider as I found that system fair useful because I forget little things. And in our line of work we can't forget stuff. Ok, I’m preaching to the choir here, but I’m a mid-level lateral, and I get most of my work now from an absolutely toxic partner that I am basically assigned to (firm is very siloed and partner doesn’t like sharing associates). I am getting to the point where I don’t take the tirades personally, but the obvious lack of good leadership leaves me incredibly unmotivated. But the learned helplessness also means that I procrastinate—like right now! Send help!

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I’m a third year, and am the most junior person all of my teams (generally me, a senior or two, and a partner or two), and I always feel like I’m messing something up. Is this just because I never get to work with other juniors and don’t see the mistakes they make, and that it’s relatively normal? And FWIW I went to HYS and I’ve had a clerkship so it’s not like I’m not smart

Last week team dynamics took a turn for the worst (even tho in each retro the team always commend each other, you would think team work is great). Team members get agitated with each other for being slow. Team members coming across rude and brash (the same ones are difficult to get hold to offer support, time is money is what someone said💰, the craziest was the client accidently sharing her whatsapp screen, commenting on people's feedback to what she was presenting OMG 😲 How was your week?

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time. I am trying to do my best even with very little direction and this supervisor constantly harassing my about things like her not being able to use google meet or to remember passwords. I feel bullied and very anxious. I am afraid she can jeopardize my visa with a bad evaluation. I have been working at midnight, on Sunday mornings but I am human, I make mistakes, she just blames me instead of teaching.
