Hi Fishes, I recently joined Pwc AC and was informed to update my checkpoint portfolio where we update all our investments. If we have some investments and if we do not declare them, will it be a problem or can I update it as Nothing to report. Recently I joined here so I'm having some confusion regarding this.

The easy place to start is your 401k. Contribute at least to the match limit. Keep enough cash for an emergency fund. I would suggest 6 months expenses. Use Roth IRA and HSA if available. Bogleheads Guide to investing is a book I would recommend.

A random walk down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel is fantastic - has recently been updated and provides solid history of markets and an overview of all aspects of personal finance
The second most useful after that is common sense on mutual funds by Bogle
I like the Peter lunch books but I think those two above are more foundational and then take a look at Peter Lynch and others
Thanks so much for this! Will definitely go through these recommendations.

One Up on Wall Street by Peter Lynch is a classic
Forget other peoples’ screen shots of their alleged “success”. You just don’t know their circumstances or how honest those screen shots truly are. I advise high net worth millennials all day and can’t imagine even one of them screenshotting and posting their family’s account balances. I sent you a private message with more.
Same boat as OP, if you could DM please, thank s!
