That would be a sick day for me.
Stay home. No one else at the office wants to catch whatever you have. Even if you did have time sensitive deliverables, stay home and work remotely. Nobody wants to catch what you have.
I had a colleague get a stomach bug a few years ago and he came in anyway. Next week half the team was out with the same thing. Please, spare us!
While I agree with this advice in general - I don’t think anyone is going to catch OPs bee sting and reaction to Benedryl!
Yes - don’t you know how contagious bee stings can be(e)?
A paper cut is my threshold....
If you don’t have any pressing needs physically in the office, work from home. If you’re even too delirious/feverish etc to do that, that’s when I go ahead and just take the day off....luckily that only ends up being a few days a year at the most

I try not to infect anyone else with a bad attitude. Bring your best every day and if you can’t then you need the rest.
Oh and just found online it's having additional interactions with my existing medications... 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

sounds to me like you are doing everyone and the client especially a favor by not going to work confused
The risks of working while loopy are huge. Underperforming. Speaking out more than is appropriate. Falling asleep during a call. Missing an urgent text because of nap or drug interactions. Basically, I hope you took the day off and are not in danger of being labeled a low performer.
