I feel like anxiety prevents us from action sometimes. It is easier to not act and not fail than to act and maybe fail or fall short. Consulting is definitely a space where this gets amped up. It sounds like something in conjunction with anxiety but I think getting help would be useful. Hope that helps and hope you find what you need my friend

Hmm this is not normal.
How much are you sleeping? Have you gotten blood tests lately? What is your stress level? I had this issue last year and it turned out to be two things: severe anemia + lack of sleep. People are saying ADHD and certainly not enough sleep / exercise / proper nutrition can exacerbate symptoms but the symptoms would have to be present your whole life to some degree (possible), so I'd start with a convo with your doctor + proper sleep, etc.
I recommend seeking professional help, from a licensed and qualified doctor. While we can give you a million suggestions or ask a million questions, we’re most likely not qualified to diagnose you.
I suggest starting with you PCP and maybe a mental health specialist. Hopefully you get it solved and feel like your old self soon.
Sounds like you need more coffee.
No, joking, but make sure you’re drinking water and meditating. Mindfulness will truly help.

Read about nootropics. Alpha GPC (600 mg daily) and pitacetam (4-5g) daily should do the trick.
