Anyone have any good audit jokes or one liners?
Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

Only accept if you're excited about the offer. If not, then keep looking. Also a company that only gives you 48 hours to accept is sketchy.
You have time. Allow yourself the time to truly look around and only accept something you actually want.
I was in a similar spot but only accepted a company that met what I was looking for - and I was fairly picky.
Completely agree with this! 48 hours to accept an offer is unprofessional in my mind, but if it’s something that you’re passionate about I’d say go for it
It might be considerably more difficult to get offers after you've completed the pip and they show you the door. If you got the IT audit position you want I would go for it and then reassess in one year.
These heaux ain’t loyal. Leave Big 4 ASAP. PIP at a Big 4 or any company never ends well…continue to interview regardless. Chase the bag and don’t let the Big 4 experience stop you from being great but try to go hard with the new firm and be a top performer. Big 4 is always sink or swim and sadly most timely they throw you in to sink and watch and see if you can swim.
you get on PIP you immediately leave. do not stay there any longer.
I agree pwc 2 . If you like the offer, just accept ! If not, keep interviewing with other companies
How many week remaining of your PIP! When is the deadline you accept your offer?
4 weeks on PIP
48 hrs to accept the offer
Or less if the place is awful!
