HAHHAHAHAH I feel bad for how hard I laughed at this but this is too real.

Leaves things at the location last used rather than putting the item back. For example, takes scissors out of drawer to couch to open a box. Leaves scissors on couch.

She can’t understand how she looses or misplaces items regularly.

Yes she does. Or my favorite. Will put 2 pots on the counter right above the cubbard and walk away

Putting the toilet paper on with the end coming from the back instead of draped in front

My husband just sits the new roll on the back of the toilet instead of replacing the empty one 🙃

Leaves his whiskers in the sink. Ugh

It is maddening!!!

A lot more women than men seem to be commenting in this post. Looks like it's a virtual gossip base for women. Lol.

He can’t make an X or Y decision. I try so hard but when I make the decision he has a qualm! A QUALM!

I am calm but if someone’s kicking you lightly in the back of your leg every time a certain situation comes up, you’ll get annoyed anyone would! That’s kind of the point of this post. A pet peeve doesn’t usually cause someone to be calm after dealing with an annoying situation constantly.

It is like pulling teeth to get my husband to dress up for more formal events. 😩 He’s a great guy, but I wish he’d put a little more time into things like combing his hair, wearing nice outfits.

OCD clean freak. Drives me nuts.

My husband is not great about getting places on time, which sometimes makes me feel like I have to be the “time police” instead of being able to relax and have fun. He is getting better about it, though, because he knows it bugs me. I know his biggest pet peeve for me is that I’ll start projects/chores and then get distracted and not finish them, haha.

Her whataboutisms. She’s at the level of Kellyanne Conway.

There’s no worst feeling that to be rejected by someone you love. I gave my heart and time to someone I thought felt the same towards me for more than a year. They decided to end the relationship cause they didn’t feel the same, and even though I appreciate the honesty, it hurts a lot!

I have to support my family financially. Usually my mom cooks for the family so groceries only cost $1200/month. However, my mom is abroad for 2 months so it’s just my siblings and they can’t cook so they’ve been using my card for doordash. I think there are days when they spend $100+/day. It’s frustrating because my mom already told them the daily budget repeatedly. I’ll go bankrupt at that rate. However, it’s not like I can take my card back since I don’t want them to starve…

My wife and I just had our second child, and we have also been dealing with her cervical cancer diagnosis. It has been a stressful year, to say the least. I want to do something nice for her, but money is tight right now because of the cancer treatment costs, and her being on unpaid leave because of the cancer treatments. What is something low cost I can do that will be a nice “couples thing” so we can de-stress, but also make her feel special?

Dad passed away 2 months ago. I traveled to India and stayed for 2 months, dealt with significant red tape to close his cards, loans, transfer pensions, etc. A succession certificate is WIP for one of his accounts, so mom decided to stay back until it’s done. Mom has always refused to hire a maid, loves to hoard, cleans superficially, the house is always a mess when I visit and all my India trips are spent cleaning including this one. I’ve fought with her a ton over the last two months as well..

What to do when parents dig their toes into your relationship? They don't approve of who I'm with and very vocal about it.

In 10 years, this may be in the rear view or they may not let up. Anyone with experience in this?

We had evaluations and normally we have annual raises. I think my salary is under market value at $68k (plus OT) in Los Angeles (5 years of experience). I was told I am one of the top employees in the firm. When I asked about a raise, I was told “when you think about it at your level 5k to 10k doesn’t really matter it’s the long term goal that matters”. What would be your response to that, to a partner who is making 500-600k a year?

I have been working in an interim role as a portfolio manager. I was promised that the role would be mine. However, after doing the job for 2 months, I have been advised that we might not get the funding for the role and I might not get the raise and the title but my responsibilities will be the same.

Its a political minefield.

Is it irrational for me to get an “ick” for this?

I went on a “date” recently. I paid for the tab as they were going to the bathroom. As we were leaving they said “thanks for lunch” — I was hoping they’d at least ask to Venmo me half as a kind gesture. Following lunch we grabbed dessert. I was hoping they’d offer to cover dessert since I covered lunch but it didn’t happen.

I am fine w/ paying but I was hoping the gesture would at least be presented… am I crazy?
