What’s the most chaotic holiday shift you’ve ever worked? (Holiday season is just around the corner 🙃). For me, it was Valentine’s Day 2023 with 3 proposals, a kitchen fire, and a guy who threw up in the bathroom sink all in one night. By the end of service, I felt like I’d aged a year in a single shift. Holiday shifts always seem to magnify the chaos. What holiday gives you the most PTSD, and why?

Worked as a bartender in Hong Kong. New Years Eve and Day. Started at 4pm. Party ended at 3am. Had to do inventory. Didnt get home until 6am.

For me, the most chaotic holiday shift is always New Year’s Eve. Everyone expects perfection, the orders never stop, and the pressure in the kitchen feels like a ticking time bomb. Last year, we ran out of key ingredients, had several last-minute reservations added, and dealt with a guest complaint while still trying to keep the energy festive. By the end of the night, I felt completely drained. New Year’s shifts always push me to my limits

Hi fishes,

I have received my first offer letter which they wanted me to accept by e- signing it and after i did that theh have sent out form 11 and other documents to be filled in 2 days.
I have never filled form 11 and other personal details untill 1 week before my joining date.

My joining date would be after my notice period which is usually 2 months.
Should I share the person details and form 11 they asked for now itself?
Will it be a problem if i don't wish to join the company later
