Hello, anyone here who can guide regarding the interview process and preparation for Google Cloud Migration Consultant role?
Do they have the hiring committee and team match processes for India hiring as well or is it more straightforward?
Recruitment team has reached out and scheduled the first round and I am extremely nervous!!!*bites nails*
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.
Nagarro

Are you comfortable with vlookups?

If you’re asking whether I know how to do them, the answer is yes…if you’re really asking whether I’m comfortable with them, it is an emphatic no…

Just for funsies, maybe throw in an INT and TRUNC as well!
I’ve been asked if I know what a vlookup or pivot table is…that’s about it.
In my interviews it’s been more about how comfortable I feel working backwards in Excel. Not necessarily creating anything crazy, but understanding the existing formulas in their sheets and understanding what data it’s pulling
why would you do a vlookup in 2024 though
index-match and xlookup are so much better
