What do you mean by transition period?

I’m assuming they mean how long it will take to transition but I don’t know how anyone can answer that. It’s going to be dependent on what roles are open, what type of litigation, YOE, size of firm, etc

like

I’d almost consider a litigator to be a baby attorney if they transition to transactional work. YMMV, but they’re really two different worlds. I consider it one of the major dividing lines between types of law practice areas.

Try a “product counsel” type in-house position. (Maybe the same type of position exists at a firm, but generally, I’ve seen these positions in-house.). Litigation is extremely helpful background.

Hi Fishers,

43 days has passed in PDP with Timeline for me and there are still no projects avaliable on TMP based on my current skill set. I am upskilling my self as my Home manager asked me but this long period on PDP with Timeline is really making me nervous.
Should I be prepared for the worst and start looking for job change?
Anyone faced such an situation please suggest.
Thanks in Advance!

This might be a long shot but I'm looking for a volunteer who is trying to break into a federal career. Maybe a transitioning veteran, recent grad, or career-changer.

I'm pursuing my master career coaching cert and need to do a recorded 45-minute session. You don't have to be identified if you don't want to.

The single session is all I'm asking but could certainly turn into a longer lasting coaching relationship (at no cost), if you like.

Hi All,

Need some career advice.

I have a year of experience in a clinical ops role where learning is quite stagnant. I’m eagerly looking to transition to good challenging opportunities in life science consulting/analytics and allied domains. Which organisations/startups/roles should one apply to being a non-technical applicant with a masters in biotechnology?

It would be really helpful to get your guidance on further course of action.

TIA!
