What city? NYC or LA based 130-150k base salary with OTE of 250k plus benefits.
Thank you !
Technically, there’s no difference if it’s in the same city but if you’re moving then pick based on COL of the city
I don’t think so, when the pandemic hit and people went remote - did the companies decrease salaries?
Remote work provides flexibility, efficiency and comes with a cost of a slightly hindered professional growth due to less face time with managers and peers. If your job can be done from anywhere then it doesn’t matter whether you’re coming to office or not. You get paid for the work.
I do think salaries should be based on COL of the geolocation though
As an Account Executive my expectation is that the role is almost always remote. In addition to Glassdoor I would also take a look at RepVue.
Some people enjoy being in the office. I prefer remote.
First, I’d ask myself if I’m seeking more compensation for in-office jobs, will the extra money actually matter 3-6 months down the road if I actually just don’t like the in-office requirement.
So I’m applying now , looking to switch from pharmaceutical sales to software in the healthcare industry. If I can be fully remote, about $90K, but the difference for 20% travel id need about $110K, 50% travel $130K
It saves the company money in several ways to consider a lesser traveling rep, not only on salary paid but also expenses involved with lodging, gas, car etc
Thank you!
I don't know that I would really weigh that into my consideration. I love being at home, don't get me wrong. However if we return to office there isn't much I can do.
My primary consideration would be the additional expenses and cost of living. Unless the company makes it mandatory, I'd stay wfh.
