Which one is better when it comes to time off policy? For examples: a. 20 days of PTO b. 15 days of PTO, 3 sick days, 2 personal days. And why?

in practice probably equal. but in theory, more flexible pto days are more valuable. and you probably can take sick days without taking PTO in option a

like

In your example the 20 days of PTO is better then 15 days of PTO, 3 sick days and 2 personal days. The reason being you have 20 days off in both situations but you are restricted in when you can use the sick days for example you probably would not be able to use them in conjunction with PTO days.

like

20 days of PTO, hands down. If they specify sick days, chances are they'll be inclined to want you to prove you're sick and that is a complete invasion of privacy. Any employer who thinks they are entitled to your medical information can stuff it.

like

20 days of PTO since this company will also most likely have some sort of sick policy as well. In most states, it is a requirement.

like

Option 1...if you quit, all of the days get paid out. The sick days and personal days don't in many states.

like

B. It’s more flexible

like

I agreed, the issue that I have seen is that some people were not taking their PTO when they were really sick.

What is a personal day vs a PTO day?

When I think of a "personal day" in this scenario...PTO = planned and approved in advance, sick day is just that, a day you are calling in sick, personal day is a last minute hey my car won't start so I need to take a personal day, or hey my kid is sick so i need to take a personal day.

What is PwC India for you?
It's a Big4 but will lowball you during offer negotiation.
It will ask you to work on multiple projects but will hardly appreciate or value your work.
They will ask you to come to the office on Sunday for business critical work and won't give any cab or food facilities.
You will be involved in multiple extra work, which you normally don't do in other service based companies. But there is no benefits/perks for that, you just end up doing extra work!!

Just finishing my first week in as an audit intern and genuinely I have no idea what I'm doing or even a general idea of the audit process. The senior associate left the engagement last week so it's just me and an associate, and they don't have time to give me instruction.

Am I stupid or did the e-learns not prepare me for any of this? The training told me I'd be auditing cash but I haven't even touched a bank reconciliation.
