How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. Under contract to buy my first home - house hacking a triplex. Property has been leased by the same three tenants for the last 5+ yrs, rents haven’t been raised since they moved in. Closing on my first home. Advice for anyone with student loans in administrative forbearance per the Cares act: once your offer is accepted have you student loan servicer put your account back in repayment status.

Accounts in forbearance, even administrative forbearance, are calculated at a higher monthly payment by the underwriter.

My fictitious debt to income ratio was too high for them to approve me, and it took seven days for my loan to be officially back in repayment. So just a heads up.
