why many people have been laid off recently? I have 4 friends who had to pack their stuff this week(I don't have many friends FYI) This stresses me out.

i am incredibly livid at the way my firm laid me off, claiming it was performance based when i know it was bc of some unrelated conversation about wanting to broaden my professional bandwidth.
