Would you say analytics roles at agencies are less impacted from all the layoffs cause people who got laid off from tech are trying to go for roles at tech companies and not agencies ?
I am trying to leave ad agencies after working in analytics roles for 5 years. Have been noticing that the salary range of most of the agency roles that recruiters have been reaching out to me with have a been higher than in-house roles at tech companies.

Looking from the in house side, what year (eg, fourth year associate) is a sweet spot to go in house? Especially as private equity associate.

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.

I left my last company because I was never assigned any work to do and spent most of my day staring at the walls in my room, averaged 5-6 hours of work a week. I’ve been in my new role for about 6 months and no matter how much I offer to help I am still assigned very little actual work and average a few hours a week. First world problems I know but I just want to learn and grow professionally!

What is the comp ceiling long term look like for staying in cloud consulting technical career compare to moving into SWE?
