Wow! Talk about turning things around. While other casual restaurant brands are closing locations all over the country, Chili's is bouncing back. It's an impressive accomplishment, will other restaurant brands be able to mimic these results or is this success only something Chili's can achieve?

Love this! I'll always have a soft spot for Chili's because I was a server there in high school and spent so much time there. I'd love to see a few other chains (like TGI Fridays and Spaghetti Factory) start to expand their restaurants again too.
It's interesting that one key to the success was reducing the menu. I've always assumed some of those places just have too much going on. Too bad it may be short-lived, however. This isn't the year to have a business that serves guacamole. Maybe they can replace the avocadoes with American soybeans or something.
Their commercials have been pretty entertaining. I see a few of them when I’m watching TV. I also have to say out of all the casual chain restaurants Chili’s food tends to be the best. I mean, if you’re gonna put chilies up because like Applebee’s and red lobster and Olive Garden is always gonna come out on top.
Prices rose across the board for food, and service and quality all went down instead of even barely maintaining. When every meal out became fancy sit down restaurant prices, a lot of people became very picky about it. Personally, Chilis is usually decent. Consistency is going to be the big issue for chain places.
