Can you work 2 jobs at the same time? I’m a FTE employee at a large e-commerce company, but with a company restructuring we have 2.5 months to find new jobs. I’ve been applying to design agencies and they seem to be looking for people to start sooner than I would like. I want to stay at my FTE role til the end though in order to receive my severance package and retention bonus. But I don’t want to start my job search too late and be jobless come July.

I work as a BDR/SDR for a marketing SaaS company and I have about 5 years of sales experience under my belt. My company is fairly new and has been changing a lot. The employee turnover is insane right now and it’s making me worried that I might get laid off eventually.
I’m trying to find a way to get out of sales and into something like product management, sales enablement, or sales/revenue ops. Is there a way in to these roles with my prior experience? If so, how would to talk to it?

I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead PO and HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.

They offered me 2 weeks of severance pay and I negotiated it to 3.

Had several rounds of interviews back in May, all signs pointed to that they all loved my resume and personality and I made a great impression. I was told that the role was on hold due to “beaucracy” but the hiring manager from the role has kept in touch.
