I work at tech company as a strategic account executive and make 115k. Would it be hard to get a job at google as a account executive? How is AE role at google? What’s the comp like?
What is a typical salary for a major player ad agency to pay an Account Executive in NYC? My agency is opaque on salaries so it’s hard to know what is normal or not and if I’m being properly valued for my work or underpaid. I have 4 years of experience, with 1.5 years at my current agency.
Found out that the other AE on the team I work on is making a significant amount more than me. How do I approach my director about possibly increasing my salary to be equal? For context, I technically have been an AE longer as she recently got promoted from AAE. She’s also new to the team I work on and from what I’ve been told, will be doing the exact same work.
Can we talk about comp for a minute? Curious on management compensation based on experience / segment. I’ll start: 150/150k, 40k RSUs, 7 yrs mgmt experience, 8 years AE. Primarily commercial segment Below Fortune 2000 companies. Variable is pretty spot on or above +10-15% given performance in a year. Please share actual attainment not advertised OTE. Thanks!
I'm an Account Executive with 5 years of experience, in a smaller city (not NYC, LA), making just under $50k. Am I underpaid? I do not get a bonus or OT.
I just received a verbal job offer today, but the title was slightly different than what I applied for. The title in the job posting was Digital Strategist, and the title in the offer was Senior Account Executive, Digital. I’m currently a Social Media Manager, and their offered salary is higher than what I’m earning now. They said that the SAE, Digital is a better title since it sounds more senior, but I’m a bit worried about it. Should I still try to negotiate about the title?
I have an interview for an Account Executive role within an influencer marketing department at an agency in New York, I haven’t found a lot of salary info about this particular role online so I’m not sure what to say if/when the recruiter asks salary expectations. Anyone have any insight? I’m currently working a more junior position so this is a step up from that level wise.
Anyone have an idea of what salary expectations are realistic for a sae role that is now fully remote but will support nyc business? for context i’m currently an ae in chicago so i just want to know what to expect. near the end of the process, hoping to get an offer and just don’t want to be surprised. thanks!!

Guys, for equal pay day. My day rate is usually 1500 and I feel like agencies expect my rate to be 1200. I used to make 190k full time. Am I being lowballed or does this rate seem fair? - A female CD
Jumio is looking for a SM/Dir of Corp Dev to be a one man band reporting to the COO/CFO. 175k + 15% bonus with light equity (LTI no RSUs). DM if interested and I'll connect to recruiter
Comp question for VC. My firm is fundraising a third fund. I’m not expecting my full bonus this year; I joined in April. At bonus time, I’m thinking about asking my partner if he would match my contribution to the new fund if I dedicated my whole bonus $ to it? So ex. if my bonus is $20k, I take none of it in cash, put $ in the fund, and ideally firm matches another $20k. My reasoning: it’s a deferred comp rather than cash, and I want to show I’m dedicated and plan to stick around. Am I crazy?
Let’s make sure we are on the same page about this: if you’re sharing your salary for flaunting purposes, there’s no need to disguise your flaunt in a long post about a potential decision you have to make. Just flaunt it. Your authenticity will be rewarded.

Have an opportunity to be a principal at a much smaller, lesser known firm. I’m 2-3 years away from principal at BCG and trying to decide if it makes sense to move. Will I still have MBB like exit opportunities as an alumni at a smaller consulting firm or do I need to stick it out and make principal at BCG?
