Salary for someone starting as a Mid-level AD in LA?

Looking for a senior design based digital creative (level around a Sr. Design Director/Sr. Digital Art Director) who lives and breathes banners/RM. Must be heavy design/craft focused but still be able to present work. Someone from digital production shop or digital agency or digital media agency ideal.

Remote work at EST times, can start ASAP. Day rate from $1000-$1500 USD FT 40hrs a week (for next few months at least) freelance to perm. DM me portfolios that showcase current banner work.

Please don’t accept a lower salary or rate from an agency because of where you’re based.
The award-winning ad you make in a low-cost of living city should cost your agency the same as if you were in SF/NYC/LA. Make them pay us for our work, don’t give them a discount for something so completely unrelated to the job as where we choose to live.

(This is kind of an ad, but I started the bowl, so here ya go...) Alright, friends, I'm a huge fan of the Southwest Companion Pass. I've had it for 3 years, and have gotten LOTS of free flights out of it!

This year, Southwest/Chase have made it so much easier to earn the Companion Pass by raising the credit card sign-on bonuses. I would be posting this even if I didn't get a bonus from it, because it's been so great and such a money saver. (Continued in comments)
