Associate advisors working for a RIA - I’m trying to get an idea of salary ranges. What’s your salary and how many years of experience?

I would like to hit fire between 40-50. Currently 27, 185k total comp (125 for me and 60 for partner). Like my job don’t hate it don’t love it. Does an MBA make sense? I’m guessing it could take me to 170ish with that schools I’m looking at but wondering if the 40-50 retirement range makes an mba not make sense since I’d only have 10-20 years to save vs 12-22.

Would have to finance the whole thing myself. Current net worth is 140k. Thoughts?

For those of us who don’t think we’ll be shooting for PPMD, what level SM do you think is the ideal jumping off point into a different job? What types of jobs and salary increase would you expect? I’ve never really looked for jobs so not sure what the market looks like for us but don’t think I’ll be here for the long haul

Our client, a Manhattan pharmaceutical digital advertising agency is looking for a VP or SVP Brand Strategy.. Needs experience working on a brand with multiple indications in the oncology space (ideally) and be actively working on approx. $7 mil. of revenue.

Hello. Would anyone mind sharing a solid resource or approach to compensation alignment strategy? Currently our staff have a conversation around their comp. on their anniversary- 300 employees. Performance review conversations take place twice a year and not connected to the comp conversation. I am looking for a way to ensure the comp. conversations feel less laborious and tedious. Offered a salary of 92K for a Business Analyst position at Facebook NYC in the Marketing Intelligence team. What’s the typical range? I have more than 2 years of work experience

Would you leave top bank in Canada when you are 18 months into role as Branch Manager and just about ready to move on to next role for a 45% salary increase, no commute (down from 80km one way), but you need to be BM for 3 more years at different Big5 bank?

Looking for advice for investing in these two options. Say I have $100k by October saved up
1) Put 10k into iBonds and $90k as downpyament and closing costs for a property (I’ll need to put in 20%, already talked to several mortgage agents)
2) Put $0 in ibonds and put all the $100k in the home investing (given it’s a little more of an expensive property, given some other factors - location, size, etc)
