Have finally saved up enough over the past 4 years of working to be ‘OK’ if I lost my job tomorrow and was out of work for 2 years; i.e I should be able to cover expenses, etc easily without dipping into my 401k at all. This has made it exponentially harder for me to put up with BS, since I always know at the back of my mind I could walk away and be OK. Anyone else ever have this feeling?

Is it fair to not really see the value in a 401k? I get the tax benefits but can't justify an account that I can't touch until tail end of lifespan. Context: I contribute the % match but no more.

I have $20k in savings, I owe $6,000 to my 401k loan, that’s the only loan I got. I am debt free otherwise except for my house. Should I use my savings to pay off? Since people are talking about unemployment and being fired, I wanted to make sure I have enough, 👩🏾‍💻... What should I do? I initially took the loan to add to my home equity when I sell my house for a new house then covid hit.

Chase Sapphire Preferred vs Amex Green Card ?? SO has chase card so was thinking to add onto her membership but was wondering if I could get the 60000 points while I am added or I need to get new card ?? On the other hand was thinking Amex since our corporate card is Amex and I already have membership rewards to Amex. Both have equally good benefits for mid travel benefits And also I believe Amex will have less annual fee since we have Corporate card. right ?
