What are the Big 4? Discussions

Been reading into CohnReznick. Anyone know the best way to go about landing a possible internship for next year? I currently have an FDD internship offer for a MM firm next year but I'm still exploring options. Coming off an audit internship at Big 4 this past summer. Thanks.

Lots of talk about CohnReznick on here lately… let’s address a few points.

1) Yes, our salaries are in line with B4. Happy to discuss specifics with the skeptics.
2) We are one of the few firms still actively hiring people without FDD experience.
3) Our WLB is miles better than B4.
4) Yes, we are paying strong referral bonuses because our practice has literally doubled in the past year.
5) All of the above is due to a strong pipeline and significant growth within the practice.

What is audit S1 salary range in Atlanta?(big 4)

ERP NetSuite consultant at a boutique logistics / supply chain consulting firm. I typically meet other ERP consultants that are either at ERP tech shops (e.g. suite-digital-group .com or whatever) that specialize only in their ERP of choice. Or Big 4 consultants.

Looking to hear experiences from other ERP consultants at boutique firms with specific strategy / subject matter practices.

Is there a real difference in work/life balance between Big 4 and all other firms? Asking specifically to audit and would be coming in as Senior Manager. Thanks

1 year: public sector/non profit
2 years: tier 3 strategy consulting (big 4/Accenture/etc)
1 year: FAANG
Now taking a new job at a F200 company, hoping to pivot back into tech some day.

Found that many folks in my office still dont reach to Senior after 3 years. I dont want to be like them. Any advice? Can I request for a promotion after 2 years given it's not the standard in my location? Or should I switch to other Big 4?

Currently a contractor and love the flexibility and freedom to choose what I work on and location.
Looking for insights on a possible return to Big 4 consulting. Director level hours, stress, WLB, remote working, etc.
Comparing this to perm roles in industry.
Just keep getting calls so considering both these vs staying independent. Would only return to Big 4 for the ability to switch back later to higher day rates or if there's a clear partnership route (is this even worth it?)

A recruiter once told me that mid size firms pay more than big 4 at the senior and manager level especially to external hires. Has anyone found this to be true? HCOL if that matters

I’m an incoming associate with one of the Big 4 soon. A friend and I are planning to create an LLC but not put too much into it for the next few years. My friend is not in the Big 4 but wants a jump start to creating our LLC together. The LLC is not accounting related. I’ve been reading about contract conflicts and wonder if there is anything I need to worry about if I go ahead with creating an LLC. Has anyone here created an LLC while at the Big 4 or gone into the Big 4 with an LLC?

Why is pwc ac not paying at par with deloitte usi?

At an average deloitte usi pays more than pwc ac. Better pay, hikes, bonus, allowances etc. Both are big 4 offshore centers yet such stark difference. Looking forward to switch there.

UK fishes, what is a typical manager salary in TS / Deal Advisory in London? Both Big 4 and other. I’ll start, KPMG starting is about £85k.

Everyone on here makes fun of KPMG.. but from outside they seem like the only Big 4 that isn’t too full of themselves? Only one I’d consider based on the opinion of the the other guys. Coming from MM the stuck up attitudes just makes me feel like I’d be looked at as not the type of professional the other Big 4 firms would view as adequate.

I currently work for one of the Big 4 and am about to start the application process to interview with a mid-tier firm. I had a couple informational calls and am planning to apply for a first year senior manager position - the resource manager is supposed to send me an application form to complete.

At what point do I bring up the higher title request in the interview process? Before she sends the form, during the interview, or after receiving an offer and seeing what title is on the offer?
