Should I do an online MBA? Or look elsewhere… I’m in a B Dev manager role at a respected company. But it’s not the right fit and the pay is not worth the grunt work. I want to move into a partnership manager or consulting like role but have no clear line or direction other than my 8 years experience between marketing, operations management and sales.

I joined a consulting firm few months ago after MBA. Before that, I worked in industry for more than 5 years. Being an international student, I am still struggling to adjust to culture here. I feel overwhelmed and developed imposter syndrome. Although, the quality of my work is good, I am not able to communicate and even answer basic questions properly. I’m currently working as an analyst (2 YOE). I am currently in Wealth Management side (RIA) of finance whilst pursing my MBA part-time. Any advice or career direction for those who do not want to take the FA route? I started this as an internship, turned into a full-time role during the pandemic, came from non-target, 4.0 major GPA (finance and global business).
