Planning to get a new card and wondering if people have recommendations? I don't want to gets the amex platinum or CSR because the fees is too much for me right now, but what are your thoughts on the chase Sapphire preferred? Or similar?

Any thoughts/experience between sapphire reserve vs Amex platinum? Their annual fee is about the same around 500 with corporate card discount. Amex does have lot more perks which equals to >600 annually but reserve also better point earning/transferring system.

If marriott royally effs up, I get points. When Amex has screwed me over 3x in a row, messed up my vacation and possibly gotten my personal details compromised, is there anything I can ask for or have them do to make things right?

My company is paying for one credit card. I'm leaning towards Amex Platinum given the large 100k sign up bonus at the moment (which I'll be able to hit). People lean towards CSR because of the 3x on dining but I don't eat out that much (and additional perks, but I prefer the Amex for that).

Currently have both the Amex platinum and chase sapphire reserve (just got the Amex). Thinking of dropping CSR. Would having both Amex Plat + Gold be a good combo for benefits (lounges, clear, global entry etc.) and points / rewards?
