Anyone from AMEX ? need a referral🥹

Coffee Peeps: 3 years ago I bought a Jura Micro (small single espresso machine) using Amex points on a 3 for 1 special, it retails for 2.4K.

Had an issue with it last week and the shop is quoting $600 for repairs. I am weighing this vs spending the repair budget (or less on) a different machine. Any recommendations or thoughts on what to do?

I typically enjoy drip coffee so not dead set on espresso. Would love some advice.

Hi I am currently going for my master in data analytics at University of Houston and recently got two internship offers. One from Honeywell (in Charlotte) as a Data Analyst and 2nd from American Express (in Phoenix) as a Product Analyst. Amex pays almost 1.75x more than Honeywell.
But I am thinking long term which role btw Product Analyst to become a Product Manager or becoming a Data Scientist will help me reach Leadership role (Chief Marketing Office or COO for example) 5-10 years from now.

Just saw that my Amex is overdue even tho I made a payment. I called them and didn’t know that I was required to pay in full while waiting for my expenses. I did pay a few hundred before the due date but not the full balance. What do I do? They took notes and said it’s fine but how do I handle on the Accenture side?

Are other companies' big data systems as bad as Amex's?


Amex is the only company I've been with so I want to know from others how it's like in other companies. Hive is so slow. Yellowbrick is fast but not all cornerstone data is there and is practically useless for my team's use case. MLS crashes so often. Ask Aida support is so sloppy and they just regurgitate the same information over and over again. Is this an Amex thing or is this just how big data works everywhere?
