Has anyone interviewed at Stripe recently? I had a really weird experience and wondering if it's normal. The recruiter told me the interview was going to be with a team member and they would talk more about the position, allow me to ask questions, and get to know more about my experience. Instead, the interviewer joined and immediately started a case interview. No introduction or anything just said, "this is the structure of the case, let's begin". I had no idea I needed to prep for a case lol.

Went through a 1st case only round at MK and heard back saying performance was not strong enough. I’m sincerely shocked, I know my case interview skills were not up to final round level but I can’t believe that I did not even pass the round. I have done 3 practice cases with current interviewers and not one of them did not pass me and I did those with way less prep than this. I’m just so sad and confused. Recruiter emailed back saying let’s discuss next steps later - any advice?🥺

Hi FB family - seeking some help for my soon to be graduating son. He has an interview with capital one. He’s cleared other stages thus far. This last one he’s pretty intimidated by because it includes some type of case interview where the Capital One team will share a pseudo code type case. Anyone know what the format of that interview is? What type of case to expect? Appreciate any guidance on how to prep. Thanks in advance.

How do people who are spouses/caretakers/parents find time to prep for interviews? Interview processes have gotten so extreme over the past decade that it takes a tremendous amount of time to prepare, and for what result? Companies still mishire all the time and attrition is high. I’m a caretaker and intimidated by preparing for interviews because of the little time I have to myself. It doesn’t mean I can’t do a job just because I don’t have time to LC or case interview prep.

To my colleagues also doing case interview prep right now, does anyone have time on evenings this week (US Eastern Time) to practice together?

I'm a Canadian MBA student and have been applying to MBB. My class is focused on case interview prep but is unable to secure interviews. We were encouraged to network via LinkedIn, but MBBer's hardly have time to check their unread messages. Even if you get a response, how much influence would they have on recruitment? Case interview prep seems to be wasted effort because of this.
