Analyst at Deloitte soon to be consultant and interviewing at Accenture. They have me interviewing for the Senior Analyst role. Is this typical at Accenture? I’m a little frustrated because it seems like I’d be taking a step back and am not sure why they chose that role for me to interview for instead of a consultant role.

I’m a freelancer, never held a senior title before, have an offer for senior at $115k from matte projects. They have cool clients, and I’ve always wanted to work more on events, but they have a super low rating on glassdoor. Any tips on how to proceed? I have more interviews coming in and I’m aware it’s a employees market right now. The job sounded perfect until I read the reviews on glassdoor.

Is “Senior” at EY a high level role? I am currently a Senior and this is the first progression point after campus hire. Didn’t get an interview which is puzzling because I have great experience relevant to the posting. 2YOE

Any idea who is hiring H1Bs (no I-140). Every firm I have applied to, either clearly says no visa dependent or after interviewing, asks questions reg. My visa situation and then ghosts me.

I am a Senior Manager with a WITCH company. Business Analysis and non technical skills

Interviewed for a senior strategist role and as we were griping about how clients can be, I said “oh yeah well the dream job is to never work with clients again right?!” And the recruiter just got back to me that “the role requires client interaction so that’s a dealbreaker”. I feel so dumb for getting comfortable during an interview to joke like that.

Recently received an interview request for SaT Valuation and Business Modeling - Business Valuation Senior role.

Am on day 3 of a new senior gig I’m very excited about, however finally got an email to interview for another senior position at the dream agency/team I’ve been networking/emailing with for months.

I have the leverage of being happy in my current job (as far as they know), with lots of security in the role & with clients, and this would be a smaller shop. And I have all of their qualifications and more - they are thrilled about me. But it is a promotion for me to senior, which I know will be what the recruiter will hit back with.

We’re hiring a senior accountant at the tech start up I work at. Most of the people applying have financial services or real estate backgrounds… I’m a little worried about those skills translating to a tech company. I was never in FSI so I’m not sure if areas like rev rec, PPE, capitalized software, etc get much exposure. Thoughts on if this type of background could translate well?

I had 3 interviews back to back with PWC last Friday. First 2 interviewers were directors, they were on time and conversation went great. The third interview was with senior manager. When I logged in the video call he joins and let’s me know he will be 15 min late to attend client meeting. He joins back after 15 min and fires questions without letting me complete the answers. It left a bad taste because the 15min interview seemed hurried. Should I let recruiter know about this experience?

I haven’t faced any technical or design rounds earlier (in my prior industry interviews) - how should I best prepare for it? Any advice who interviewed in similar roles or are at the role at MS? Hi folks, need some advice choosing between offers received from Accenture, Deloitte and Wipro. Role level is similar at senior manager equivalent (similar level as my current role). Accenture and Deloitte offering 20% raise and Wipro about 30% plus they have higher bonus component so pay wise Wipro has highest offer.

Deloitte and Accenture had very long interview process and especially Deloitte which took too long. Slightly confused what will be good for me. I am into technology consulting.

1.5 yrs experience at mid level at a holding company agency, working on accounts that should in theory present a ton of creative opportunity, but for many reasons that is not the case. I have very little produced work and that seems unlikely to change. Am in final rounds of interviews for a senior position at another holding company agency on an account where the work will almost certainly not be “great” but should be able to make a lot of it. Do I make that jump to senior this early?
