I’m in a bit of a unique situation career wise, being an attorney but not currently practicing and working as a legal analyst for a company. It’s a “JD preferred” position but I don’t find my skills being utilized and I’m looking to pivot but kind of lost as to what my options are since my position is niche. Anyone pivot from something niche to something more broad?

Early professional in need of advice: I am wanting to change jobs to get a role in the realm of data analytics/big data and want to know what certifications I could get as part of this goal? Just saw a posting for a contractor position. It's a data analyst position asking for 5 YOE. Anyone have insight into what to expect in this type of role (I.e. total comp, benefits, etc.).

Seems like Guidehouse been interviewing and hiring a lots. What is the deal with the firm? How is their level compare to other consulting firm? Consultant at Guihouse would be like Senior Analyst?

Anyone know what the general bonus structure looks like for lower level positions at a venture capital? For reference if it helps, the position is for a Sr fund accountant/financial analyst. Recruiter put the base around mid 80s with a yearly 20k ish bonus. Haven’t yet gotten enough info on if this bonus is based on performance or if there a floor for the bonus. 2 YOE @ Big4

As a new audit manager, is it a good career path to leave for a senior financial analyst role at a large Fortune 500 company? Salary is about 10% more. Or should I keep on looking for a accounting manager job?
