Need offer eval advice. I am trying to decide between the following two offers:

1 - $100k in Houston, TX, Analyst position.

2 - $130k in the Bay Area, Manager position.

The stocks, and bonuses differ by maybe $5k between Houston, and the bay area (obviously $5k more in the bay)

Same WLB, the bay area position offers more WFH.

Currently in FDD and considering a potential switch to a credit analyst/direct lending role that would have considerably higher comp due to the bonus structure (upwards of 50% of base). Does anyone here have insight on what that career path would look like in the longer term (think 5-10 years)? And, does a higher current salary mean that the long term prospects are also better?

I’ve never done sales before either and the job involves prospect and account mapping.
I was offered the job due to my transferable skills.
I will be in a small team of 4 but my role is the only business development position.

Has anyone interviewed for the strategy analyst position at American Airlines? Could you give me any pointers?

What kind of roles does “business analyst” open you up to? I have 5 YOE, 3 in audit and 2 in analytics/cloud enablement consulting. Found a role for business analyst at FAANG that sounds like it would make good use of my cumulative experience but not sure if these are typically dead end roles or not.

SO was contacted by a recruiter for a research analyst position at a top PE. He’s currently in consulting, doing lots of M&A dd work. The recruiter said the position pays on par with their associates, ~250k. He’s also been contacted by recruiters for smaller PEs associate roles. He’s inclined to try the former, but wanted some advice on whether this is a good route to take. Looking forward to your suggestions, thanks in advance!!

How bad is it to exit as an analyst/senior analyst? The advice here I’ve seen is to wait until Consultant level but I keep getting recruiter calls from LinkedIn. However my experience isn’t that impressive so I think they’re kinda suss companies

Analyst at Deloitte soon to be consultant and interviewing at Accenture. They have me interviewing for the Senior Analyst role. Is this typical at Accenture? I’m a little frustrated because it seems like I’d be taking a step back and am not sure why they chose that role for me to interview for instead of a consultant role.

Tomorrow I have 2 interviews: for Market Data Analyst @ CS, and for Client Data Analyst @ AXA XL. I'm currently Junior Managed Operations Analyst @ FIS, with half YOE on this position, and almost a year as Audit Intern @ KPMG. I've decided to apply for those positions as just within those 6 months I've outperformed all of my team members except of 1 witch has over 3 YEO. I don't see more opportunities to grow there.

What are some not obvious questions that I can be asked / I can ask?

Need thoughts from fellow tech-focused folks:

I currently work in a data analytics role (Big 4). I have an offer from a mid-sized hedge fund to do business analytics (essentially management reporting), but have interviews with Google (product analyst - data science) and Citadel (compliance project manager) lined up. Is it worth foregoing the mid-sized hedge fund for the shot at the other roles? Hedge funds or tech the better place to be?

How hard is it to transition from forensics into Internal Audit? I’ve been applying to IA positions and SOX analyst positions but no luck. Not coming from B4, just small practice. Is it a common exit? Would it help to get the CIA? Don’t have my CPA.
