In a tough situation. I love my role and the people at (1.5 yrs in role) MS. Was networking on LinkedIn and connected with a partner who got me an interview and now offer paying 55% more than current salary?

What do I do? I like money but feel bad about leaving current role. I love the people I work with and another associate just left last week.

I'm in an interesting position. I got an offer for an Associate manger (level 8) role at a tier 2 firm. I asked if bumping it up to level 7 (Manager) role is an option, and was basically told that it is if I really want to, but I should be careful what I wish for. SM basically told me that he thinks I will be a lot better set up for success in the long run if I were to start at level 8.

Can someone provide some color on this? I’ve been interviewing for an Associate (1-2 years of experience) role at a Big 4 firm. I’ve already had 5 interviews (4 actual team members and one HR) and they want me to have 1-2 more. Is this normal? It seems odd.

Currently a Senior Associate and received an offer for an Analyst position at Google, with 25% pay bump. 7 years of experience and non MBA Masters (but relevant to field) Would it be a bad decision to accept a title that is a lateral move?

Those who are or have been AUSAs, what sort of letters of recommendation make the most impact on an application (outside of a former AUSA/judge etc..)? I interviewed with kpmg for a senior associate position. They waited until the offer to tell me that they see me best as an associate. Which would be a step back in my career and even less money than we talked about. The job posting says minimum of 3 years and I have 4. Don’t understand why they like to waste people’s time like this.

Currently 1.5 YOE - EY Staff II in LCOL city $60,000 total comp and able to save and invest roughly 50% of my income. Is a Start up Banking associate role at Silicon Valley Bank in NYC worth the jump? Working thru a case study for a final round Associate Valuation role - instructions were very vague but it’s basically broken out into 3 parts. First, explain the differences between company X and Y. Second, review their historical financials (last 5 years). Third, compare their historical financials. Looking for advice/recs on how to approach steps 2 and 3. Are there certain metrics better or worse for points 2 & 3? Should I combine both parts? If you’d like the PM that’s fine, thanks all!
