I am a Manager for a large media company and I manage a team of Account Coordinators and Account Managers. What is an average salary for Supervisors and Managers in this industry? I’ve been at the company for a long time with a few title changes over the years and I honestly don’t know what is an average pay for this position. I’m hiring people at a much higher rate than I was hired at and I’ve brought up my concerns with my pay but it’s so taboo to talk about. I have no clue what my peers make

I am interviewing at a NYC ad agency for a mid-level copywriter position. They asked me about desired salary and I said I would need to look into it. Been interviewing with other agencies. Just found out I got offered position (Manager) with a pretty competitive salary ($90K). But I had a GREAT interview with another agency that I think I might favor more. The other agency wants to move forward with me and have me speak with another person on their team but they are OOO this week and are aware of the $90K offer. I have until this Friday to accept the $90K offer but other agency is willing to offer more pending 2nd interview. Advice please?!

I’m a newish AMD already making $125K, & looking to make a lateral move. During my initial screenings with a few recruiters (Publicis, Horizon, PHD), I’ve been told that my salary expectations of $130k-$140k were unrealistic, and that the highest they’d go was $110K-$120K. Debating between an offer at one of my dream agencies vs staying in my current role.

The role at the other agency would technically be a step down in role and the salary would remain lateral as my current salary, but it would require relocating to a city that has twice the cost of living of where I am now.

I do like my current agency and I’ve been here since an AAE. They’ve moved me up the ranks very quickly and have generally compensated me fairly. Curious to know what other’s thoughts are?

Let’s say you work at a US agency and they open an office in Europe and invite you to go help launch it. Generally, European salaries are like half of American salaries. If you moved offices, would you expect your salary to get cut? Or is this a loophole to working abroad and still making American money?

Looking for advice: I am at a smaller agency 20> people and I’ve gotten a pretty good grasp of my role.

I’ve already gotten 2 raises over the last year and one of them being a promotion this year. Unfortunately I still make less than what I would need to make to live on my own in DFW. hey, fishies! i got a dilemma. would you take an offer that’s $5k less than your desired salary range/expectations? (e.g. you say your range is $115k - $120k & they come back with $110k). but also this would technically be a $5k cut from your current salary, which is pretty much maxed out for its current title/salary band.

HOWEVER, i’d be moving from a midsized agency to a very prestigious agency, which also covers 100% of your healthcare premium AND deductible…
