How to know if HR is low balling you or actually putting you in right salary bracket. I have nearly 2.5 years of experience, 2 years in India, then internship and now have been working on contract for a month. Did my masters here. Finally Got an offer from a healthcare industry for full time. Feeling I am being offered lower end of salary. Please advice what could be range for data analyst with my profile in healthcare.

Need help on offers. I was offered ALM analyst a position that is $60,000 salary plus 15% bonus a year and I accepted it. I would relocate to Pennsylvania. The company seems excited to get me started.

I later got an offer from another place that pays $72,000 salary plus $3,000 bonus. This is in Florida. I applied for this company several months ago and have been going through the interview process. This job seems more appealing to me, but I already accepted the PA one. What do I do?

Hi guys, I'm a CCARS risk modeler and looking to jump banks. I have 6 years of experience at major banks and credit rating agencies, live in a high cost of living city, and am a senior analyst/associate. What kind of base salary do you think I could expect? I tried Glassdoor but it wasn't super helpful (the closest job description they have enough data for is "quantitative modeler", which includes a lot of fintech-style jobs that aren't entirely comparable).

120 at IBM consulting for senior consultant or 95 at Mck for analyst position? Mck does have a 15-22k performance bonus where as IBM has no bonus. Heard its easier to get promoted at IBM tho.

I know IB usually pays a bonus about equal to your base (as an analyst), engineering bonuses tend to be fairly negligible, but I'm not sure where strat bonus is as multiple of salary

Currently work for Deloitte as a 1st year Consultant and was offered a Consultant level role at Accenture Interactive in Digital Transformation Strategy with a starting salary 20% higher than what I'm currently making. I have been working for Deloitte for over 2.5 years and started as an Analyst out of undergrad. I know I don't want to be in consulting in the long term, but is it worth taking the offer to make more money in the short term, or reject it and keep looking for a job I really want?

I got offer in Deloitte for Analyst role around 7Lpa fixed 0-10percent variable, and 75k as joining bonus. I have around 1.8 years experience in Java full stack.
My question is what will be the expectation in Deloitte. Will they assign hectic work or treat still as fresher. ? Can I survive easily ?

Does anyone work as a Financial analyst in PE / funds ? I would like some insight on this role (salary, hours, career progression)

Total exp: 10.5 yrs
2 offers
1) TCS - Elasticsearch Developer/Data Analyst
20 lpa (18 fixed + 2 variable) plus 1 lakh as retention bonus.
2) CTS - Python Developer
22.5 lpa ( 21 fixed + 1.5 variable)

Note:- For CTS, the interview happened for python developer, however, in the offer letter they have mentioned role as manager (projects). Not sure how come!

Which one should I go for?

I’m being promoted to Manager this November but recent got offer from a fintech. In money term the manager base pay is 5k greater than the new role but i’m negotiating to match the offer with my Manager salary. Should I wait until promoted or move asap?
I dont want to continue working in external audit so trying to pivot to data analyst role/IA in the fintech before moving to full DA/DS position… but thinking the Manager promotion would help negotiate salary in the future.

What's the salary for an analyst in this group?

Senior analyst w/2+yoe at niche consulting shop with $80k base and solid bonus program. Last year's TC was $100k, this year expecting around $110k, and ~$120k next year based on promotion schedule (with 3+yoe). Base feels low and while bonus program is a draw it ends up being taxed like crazy. Is it worth shopping around for other options?
