If I exit at consultant level and am willing to take a pay cut (let’s say base salary as low as $100k), what is the cushiest job I can aim for in terms of low-stress, good hours, and job security? Within CA, if that makes a difference.

Offer as a talent program manager in industry $130k with 20% base. Currently talent consultant at $112k base about 5-10% bonus but up for manager this year. Worth it to stay? Or take the exit and run? T3 Midwest city. New role would have slower progression but better wlb and focus on really cool and specific talent work. Consulting role would be broader and provide the chance to manage a team. Thoughts from the bowl?

Currently working as a data center / cloud transformation consultant at a smaller firm. Got a lot of experience quickly right out of college and am now interviewing with larger firms (Big 4, etc.). Just got an interview lined up with PwC... really don’t want to be in a toxic environment anymore (current firm is an old boys club to the max), and I’m not afraid of hard work. What is it really like working at PwC? Competitive salary for those with ~3 years experience? Thanks!

Currently at one of the large Indian companies as a Lead Consultant, base 150k and bonus up to 15k (10%). I’m pretty much at the top of the band of my grade from the limited info I could find. About 15+ years specialized niche industry experience and often called upon to help review SMEs and SOWs for this niche industry. Currently entry level consultant. 75k total comp. Offer for software sales position at a start up targeting IPO which has recently experienced rapid revenue growth and funding. 90k base, 1% commission on all sales (which in talking to people currently at the role I’ve pegged at ~10k a quarter), and equity. Bowls thoughts on the exit? My only concern is leaving consulting before better exit ops present themselves, but this opportunity (especially with IPO on horizon and equity) seems good.

Got an offer from AFS. I have 6 yoe and currently at 103k, just got my TS/SCI which is why AFS came after me. They offered 135k w/ bonus. The letter says level 8 (associate manager) and also lists data consultant for job title. For any AFS folks, is this a competitive offer?

Is it a lateral move from Deloitte Consultant to PWC Senior Associate?

For context, I was up for promo last year but it was rescinded due to covid. SC promotion is “all but guaranteed” this cycle 🙄. I know PWC has an extra level with the new SM role so not sure if I’d be lateraling to SA3 from C at D? It’s a 40% base comp increase but just curious what the outside perception is... currently 3YOE, top right scatterplot. I’m thinking I could make M in a year or so but is that like SC at D??
