I interviewed for a role on a pretty small team back in September made it to the final round but didn’t get it. I am qualified - but I honestly didn’t prepare well enough. I am very sure if given the chance I could crush it. Awkward to apply again? I’d likely have the same or at least overlapping interviewers

UK regulator told the Big 4 they have until 2024 to separate their audit practices. I wonder if this will impact separations in other countries or just the UK firms
Is it weird to leave a job without expressing you are unhappy to any managing partners before hand? I actually think they will be shocked if I gave my two weeks and I think my biggest worry is that I am going to be killing my group if I leave with all the matters they will need to take on. But the firm has just been brutal during COVID with no acknowledgment at all (money or otherwise) of all the extra work associates have been putting in.
Note to all: Just because you have elite status and are riding dirty in first class does not mean you get to be a douche nozzle. Don't make the window passenger step over you to get to their seat!!!!!

Are you put in a lockout period (can’t reapply for x months) if you get screened out by ATS (as opposed to an interview)?
Have seen comp for NACR (restructuring) listed at around 150-200 for analysts, 200-275 for associates, and one mention of senior associates at 375k. Supposedly NACR gets crushed in terms of hours. But i've also read that targets are around 2000 hours per year? Something doesn't add up.....e.g. Associate $550/hr * 25% cap rate * 2000 billable hrs = $275k.......but 2000 hours is slightly over 40 hours a week (including 4 weeks vacay), not the 80 hr/week. So is there a ton of time on vacation?
Has anyone here heard of or worked with something called “The Bench”? I guess they vet and source freelancers(?).

Did anyone successfully get AMEX platinum to waive the annual fee? I was just told no. Saw a post but it was for corporate cards. I have 30d from when the annual fee hit my card to cancel and get the amount back in full (no pro-rating). There have been a few perks added but the net still seems high for just accumulating points I can get from other free/lower fee cards since I'm not using any AMEX services.
