SO and I moved into a loft style apartment where the walls only go up about 80% of the way (there’s 2 ft gap between the wall and ceiling) this has made co working from home a nightmare, even getting a plate from the kitchen is perfectly audible from the bedroom. I've been an EA for about a decade - I've worked at Start Ups, Post-IPO companies, and Venture Capital Firms. If you are a rockstar EA and looking for a place where people are genuine and kind, I would urge you to apply at Snapchat. Going to Snapchat was the best move I ever made. They REALLY prioritize their employees, and the benefits are absolutely incredible. I hear a lot about toxic EA cultures at *certain* other companies and Snap just does not do that. (Be warned: it's a FAST pace.)
