What happens to your shares if you are partially, or not even 1 yr vested at a pre-IPO company and the company goes public? When you continue on your vesting schedule, what price do you purchase your vested shares at?

Has anyone heard of Blue Crow Films in Turkey? They seem to be an animation studio and are looking to do business, but I have some yellow flags already... Just wondering if they have approached anyone else.

Does anyone know if things like jury duty or bereavement leave count against your utilization? I've heard it doesn't count the same way holidays and PTO do, but not sure how that is possible.

Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

Thoughts on calendar being double booked? What are the etiquettes to be followed. Often people double book and it feels like “ my meeting is more important that whatever you have booked time for in yours”. If both meetings are same urgency/importance - what’s the best approach ? What are the expectations of leadership - to throw everything away and jump on to calls based on seniority ?

EY people - how does the payroll calendar work? If I start on a Monday and Friday of the following week will that be inclusive of a full two week or is there some timing difference?

Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. Highest number of billable hours you have seen in a year?

My agency doesn’t submit for awards, and I’m not saying I’d win if they did. But as much as we say awards don’t matter, it feels like they do at a lot of places I’d like to eventually work. How difficult is it to submit on my own? Or am I better off finding a place that does submit and is willing to hire me without awards?

I’m working on starting my own online show where I act as the news anchor and cover what I think are the most important stories of the week, but I feel like I lack the personality/presence to carry out that role.

I accepted a job offer in April to start a few months from now, post clerkship. All conflicts/background check went smoothly etc. Since accepting my offer, the firm has increased their 1st year pay across the board to be higher than my offer was (which was, at the time, what 2nd yeas got). When should I reach out to the recruitment attorney leading up to my start date? Or should I? (Haven't spoken since May) Should I bring up the salary or just assume its higher?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?
