You’re constantly showing up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I started an initiative to coach HR/people leaders because I know what it’s like to be doing all the things for everyone else with little support or focus on your own well-being, growth and development. It’s a lonely game! I’d be delighted to create the space to make you a priority. Would love to offer a free session, or simply connect: https://www.chrisrollins.me/peopleleaders.
Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
Hello, We are a growing company of 250 employees. We are considering Performance Management solutions. I would love get feedback on anyone's experience with any of the below solutions? Kazoo Engagedly Perform Yard CultureAmp Thanks!!
What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.
Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
As a company we are looking at going digital with our employee personnel and medical files etc. What are some of the ways you have done that? Any advice/recommended process?
Any strategies or resources you could recommend for getting rid of the dreaded annual performance review (or at least lessening the dread) and creating a more effective year round performance feedback system? Our review is currently tied to our end of year bonuses and merit increases, so not sure I could get rid of it entirely. This would be for hourly and management employees, all working on-site.
To hr professionals in finance..I’m considering getting an online certificate through Cornell in data/analytics. Worth it or do employers think it’s equivalent to Coursera?
I’m looking for an outside sales rep in Milwaukee for a SaaS company. My top rep last year cleared $800k before stock. If you know of anyone or think you’re a good fit, let me know!

Question for you sales and saas guys. I work for a fast growing startup and we are billing around 200 K a month. I am in charge of the sales team and our CFO mandates that we collect ACH payment information on every agreement. The problem with this is we have to reel in micro deposit amounts from customers and it feels like herding cats. I’ve worked for three great tech companies and I’ve never had ACH nor have I ever paid for services with ACH. Is this a totally dated process?
I am at the 2nd round of my interview for the Recruiter Position for a German Company in Germany. I want to ask what should I prepare for this interview and which situations could they give me to check my Recruitment knowledge? Basic questions have been asked in the first interview.
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
So, my boss just told me that all lives matter. Let me know if you hear about any executive HR openings, I have 16 years of global HR experience.
Recruiter asked me where I was living and I told her the nearest big city to my house. She then asked if I lived in the city or the suburbs. Besides homes office do they ask this to see if you should get a higher/lower salary depending on your response?
1. Industry wide question: is your bench heavy? 2. Accenture Strategy question: Do you feel like there's not enough work to go around, and the work that is available isn't teaching you much?
At what income level should I switch to pretax 401k vs post tax? Out of school I did post tax since I assume my tax rate will be higher when I retire, but it’s probably getting close at this point
Why do strategy firms require MBA for associate roles? You really learn that much in business school?
Have a final interview coming up with the head of the group I’m interviewing for, but the official dress code per the person I’ve been coordinating with is ‘business casual’. To me this just means...
Are there opportunities to take on medium term (6 to 12 months) international projects at big 4 or tier 2 firms? It's something my wife and I have wanted to do for a while, but I've only got a couple years left to make it happen before my kids hit school age (don't really want to make them switch school and then go right back).
Any permanent residents here. How did your company manage you to travel and work in the US? (i.e. not eligible for TN visa)
Anyone who left Accenture but went back after some time in your industry? What was your interview experience like? Did you negotiate salary when you got your offer?
Have an h1b transfer/extension question: my H1b was approved under employer A in oct 2019 till sep 2022. Assumption is that I am eligible for an extension in 2022 until 2025. Is this assumption incorrect? I now am switching to employer B and per my transfer petition, my h1b validity is only until April 2024. While it appears like I am losing a year, will employer B still do an extension next year in September where this will be corrected?
People worrying today should read books on trading psychology! Not being patronizing- it will help you in the future, not just for investments but for doing better in life!
Switch to MBB (Associate right now; might get taken down a peg at MBB) or late stage startup in the logistics space? In an emerging/high-growth region outside of North America & Europe. I'm not keen on consulting to become a partner - but is the extra 2 or so years in consulting at MBB going to improve my exit prospects significantly?
What's a date you'd love? I'm torn between a physical activity like hiking or biking, or a nice dinner so I can dress up. (Thanks covid, real clothes are now exciting😂)
Starting out a full time job out of college not MBB but I am considering applying to MBB again for fall recruiting this year. I interviewed with all 3 within the past year (1st round ding) and I am eligible to apply again. I do not have the zeal to study for it nor apply again because my current job is 80k, 25 PTO and I close by 2pm. I am very much interested in having my own startup and working on it after 2pm but I know I wouldn’t have that at MBB. Should I push MBB to post MBA or try again?
Just made American gold and I'm still in group 6 😤 are they doing any good status challenges?
What type of alarm do you use on a vacation home which is also a Airbnb at times? Trying to find something that won’t be intrusive for guests but cover us when it’s vacant for weeks or months?
Culture question for Deloitte FBers: how common is it for a coworker (at any level) to no show for a one-on-one meeting without any warning?
