How is it like to work as an Associate in PWC US advisory team in Bangalore?

Did anyone have Deloitte USI interview recently for M&A role for lateral placement proces for MBA batch of 2020? It's been 5 days and I haven't heard from them after final round (MD round).

What are the odds of getting into Big Law after being an associate at a boutique in a small market? I clerked right out of law school and am now joining a boutique firm with the hopes of gaining experience quickly. While relocating isn’t an option right now, I have considered trying to move to a larger firm in a larger market in the future. Has anyone else done this?

I'm a marketer and I'm having a hard time getting my clients to listen to me.

I have been in marketing for 10 years now. I've worked with hundreds of clients and have been able to increase their sales by over $1 million each year.

But every time I go into a meeting with a new client, they ignore everything I say. They just want to talk about their product. They don't seem interested in learning how to market it better.

I expect the EY peeps (in promotion year) who got new jobs will be putting in their notice this week...

Tips for bankruptcy associates who eventually want to move in-house? 3rd year associate in bankruptcy/restructuring group doing mainly bk lit but a few deals too. Need to stay in BL for at least another year for the money, but eventually want to move in-house. The path to in-house seems more straightforward for general commercial lit or more standard transactional practices. Any tips for someone who’s practice is a bit of a hybrid (and who will never likely do discovery or handle a depo)

I just find some firms are unwilling to entertain the idea that anyone but a lawyer has anything relevant to contribute in this space…
