Any tech recruiters here ? I'm looking to join the field. What can a tech recruiter expect to earn in a corporate/in house role ?

What would you do if your boss started cherry picking your successful projects and trying to take them over? Keep in mind, this new boss has had 8 months to get acclimated and has not brought anything new to the table. Strategizing how to deal with this.

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? I am trying to move to Houston but I don’t want to move until I am confident I can obtain a position in the city before packing up and leaving.

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?

Any Sales Leaders doing any of the following with their sales teams?

- Entering a new market.
- Entering an old market with a new product.
- Trying to focus sales efforts onto one objective.

What is a non offensive salary base to ask for when working in Point of Sale sales? What’s the trend like? I’m in Houston Texas

I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.
I have 7yrs total sales exp.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an HRIS that includes time tracking, will integrate with QuickBooks and is reasonably priced or has a nonprofit discount?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I find it interesting how some CRO's cane come to a company and ruin it, fire a bunch of people, miss their numbers by 50% the board fires them and another company hires them a month later

I’m currently working for a company that has a global presence of about 250 employees 50 of which are in the US. I manage all of recruiting for the US.
In the new year we are looking to hire someone to be the first true HR person. I have a background in HR but have always specialized in recruiting.
My question is, do I position myself to take the HR role and backfill my recruiter role?

Does anyone work remotely outside Canada? Do you guys have any issues?

Top Corp Dev teams: Trying to find the “top” (using this as short hand, I know it’s subjective) PE shops had a bunch of resources to use. I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?
