Now that networking events are virtual and limited opportunity for face to face meetings - how are new leads being generated besides website traffic. How do you "network" at virtual meetings and presentations?

Would like to hear opinions on this scenario: County-owned Nursing Home & Rehab center (240 skilled, 40 rehab beds) being sold to a new buyer. The home has a contract w/ a food service company that would need renewed by the potential buyer if they choose. The employee in this scenario is a Clinical Nutrition Manager who works for this food service company. Their department is Clinical Nutrition, consisting of 2 employees including the Manager. Job security, maintaining similar pay up in the air.
Are you allowing employees to work for any length of time abroad, if you don’t have an office in that country? If so, for how long? If not, do you just say NO upfront?
What do you all make? I am account based in SaaS. 193k base, supposed to be 70k bonus but looking more like 20k. Mostly renewals and account management. Sort of not happy with the upside- how does this compare
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
How are you handling onboarding of new hires right now? Has anyone made creative changes to your plans or encountered hiccups? For those that usually supply new hires gifts to employees on their first day, have you still been doing that? If so, how?!
Does anyone have examples of "subjective criteria" besides leadership, that could be used to force rank a group of leaders? The objective metrics are easy, but I'm hoping to blend the data with a few few subjective criteria to help paint a broader picture when making short and long term planning decisions. Thanks in advance.
I'm in software sales, and pretty new to it. I like sales, and want a career in it, but I'm wondering what other industries have lucrative sales careers.
Anyone know any startups with solid comp? 300k OTE+ for enterprise sales or director roles? Asking for a friend.

I have a bachelors degree in psychology. Is there any benefits to actually getting a certification/masters degree related to HR? I feel that I am already advancing in my career in HR, but I’m not sure if not having a secondary degree will prevent a promotion at some point.
I'm a little bit under two years in my HR career. I was hired on full time has an HR Generalist and I want to start studying for my SHRM-CP, but I'm a little bit intimidated on how to start. Any advice would be helpful. So far I am going to get SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification All-in-One Exam Guide by Dory Willer on Amazon. Are there free online tests to take that are comparable to the exam?
What is the most effective message to send to your employees to get them to write Glassdoor reviews?
What does Sales Enablement mean to you? Does anyone here work in some type of Sales Enablement roll currently?
My team has made tremendous efforts during the pandemic to ensure the safety of all facilities and people in our region as we resume in-office activity. Predicated on confidentiality, my colleague went to HR with negative feedback re a specific leader’s flexibility with the *mandatory* PPE protocol. The HR Manager went directly to the leader and gave the feedback along w my colleagues name. Since that day she’s been heavily “taxed.” HR has a responsibility to protect anonymity. How to handle?
We are creating a training room (for about 8 learners). We’ll use this for new hire orientation mostly, but the organization has ongoing training needs. I have never had to design a training space before. If you’ve done this, what are TOP things or things you wished you had included (but didn’t think of)?
How do you apply to jobs? Is it primarily through referrals? Or just submitting online I understand that the probability of response will be much higher with a referral, but curious if online submissions work at all
Anyone here in house at an agency? If so what is your experience level, salary, and location? I’d like to have more intel before going into negotiations with my employer. Thanks!

Seeing posts about transitioning from PA to Law a lot lately and i’m not gonna lie, I thought I wanted to be a lawyer as a kid but never pursued b/c of confidence issues (knew a few lawyers and where I was at in life at 17, I didn’t think there was a chance to become a lawyer). Now I am in Big 4 and still think about being a lawyer. So i’m now considering law school. I went to a really small undergrad, but graduated cum laude and took a few accounting courses at a big school (continued..)
