Accenture folks - I'm up for a Cloud Role that I'm being told is aligned to the Advanced Technology Center. Is there much difference in terms of work & comp between the ATC and a normal role? Coming from a small firm where our equivalent of the ATC focuses primarily on internal initiatives & BD.

Only worried about that if I continue here, in process of learning ruby I might have unlearn java. I am working as a Business Analyst with 3.5 YOE and in total 4.9 YOE. I am getting 6.7CTC which felt totally low. If I switch then how much I can expect as a market standard currently. Thanks

I feel like I've been lowballed, can someone explain the below breakdown please?

Base salary: 60k
Quarterly quota (per quarter): 107k
Quarterly bonus (per annum): 23k
130% Annual bonus = 11.5k
"23% commission on quota minus base": 37k (don't understand this)
"Proposed 23% commission on 150% quota minus base": 86.5k
Sales commission threshold per month: 22k
OTE: 122k
Cost/Sales: 28%

That base salary is lower than my previous base by a significant amount by 32.7%

Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
