How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?

Not a mom , but I also made the switch from adderall to stratera and I hated it. Eventually I just got off the meds all together and adjusted my expectations of myself and started setting different goals. I really had to work on my self acceptance and actually accept that I needed a little modification to get tasks done.
The stratera wasn’t worth it to me. I might as well have been popping tic-tacs for all the help they gave me. And I was on the max dose.
You know what’s funny is I actually do pop tic-tacs for dopamine. Far too many, like sometimes it messes my tongue up lol but it’s my little stem idk.
Not a mom but I quit stimulants cold turkey 278 days ago. Beyond the first couple of weeks I’ve actually never felt better. I was on stimulants for 15+ years. I didn’t tell my psychiatrist until I had quit for 2 months because I knew he would advise me to taper and/or try non-stimulants, the latter of which he tried to get me to do. I didn’t move onto non-stimulants. That said, I went from a big law associate to in-house, so I’m working half of what I did previously. Maybe that made all the difference.
I was off my meds while pregnant and nursing, and it was pretty much awful. Never tried Strattera, so I don't have a frame of reference.
My kiddo is 9 now, and I've been back on meds. I've had periods where I've tried to go off or at least scale back, and it doesn't work. I've accepted that this is just something I need. Whether I'm working or not, if I'm off meds even on the weekend, there's a very different impact on my functioning.
I have changed things up a bit in the last few years to dial back some of the stimulants. Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant, but it's one that helps a lot with focus and motivation. I use that + what is essentially a kid dose of Ritalin (short acting kind) 630AM & 230PM, and then Metadate CD 73/30 around 10AM.
Sounds like a lot, but my doses are quite mild. I'm somewhat inconsistent with the 230PM dose. I usually feel the effects of all meds taper off by 630-7PM and fall asleep with no issue.
Thank you for sharing! I’m glad everyone was helpful and understanding. The billable hours - 😵💫
