Advice Please! If you have a manager who wants to take a teaching job but they have summers off and want to work as a summer worker. How do you do this, when they leave next month, do we close them out, pay vacation & pto out, give cobra options and think about extending offer temporary summer offer? Something temporary, <90 days, hourly or salary without benefits. We value them but we are nonprofit.

Hello! With rising inflation costs I’ve been casually browsing RA openings at other companies, wondering if I could negotiate a substantial pay increase. There don’t seem to be many regulatory roles open, would the roles be called something else in other orgs? For reference, I’m a consultant with 5 yoe in RA roles and 8 yoe in healthcare generally.

What is considered to be a “good” salary for IA/SOX work for a first year senior associate in public accounting/industry for HCOL? Looking for a new job and have a few interviews but am not sure what is considered “good” salary for these roles.. I think they have low balled me where I am currently working and am out of touch with reality on how much someone should actually make for these roles (worked for 2 years HCOL IA/SOX role in public accounting and make 66k)

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer.
