I don't think PA encompasses CFPs at all - you gotta bounce and then work for a different company or firm.

There is actually a special CFP designation for CPAs called the PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) given by the AICPA. Seems better to go that route if you are really interested

If you are in high net worth individuals tax it would probably be a great selling point with clients.

I am but not sure where to start.

Why the CFP?

Hm not sure what it is a CFP does or how it is marketed in PA

If it revolves around personal wealth then no. Not interested in anything but corps or partnerships for mega returns

Is it a bad look as a senior associate (on the path to manager within a year) to be driving an expensive car like a C7 or C8 corvette that is $70k+? I don’t think it is and here’s my rationale. I’m making over 6 figures, maxing out my 401k and IRA accounts with extra $ going to a brokerage account, I have a 3BR 1300 sq foot home with finished basement and garage for $170k. My two loans are only $240k combined. Heck most people spend more on a house alone. Work remote so vette isn’t daily driver.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.
