I’ve heard magnesium supplements can be helpful
^ yes magnesium! I never used to get migraines either but it’s a symptom that popped up in my 30s. I take magnesium daily now
I’m on the pill and the prescription is written so I take it for 3 months straight skipping the placebo weeks and only get my period once every 4 packs. Then when I do get my period and the headaches come, I use sumatriptan. It’s a pretty common migraine prescription med.
Hmmmm I’ll look that up. Thanks.

My pattern was stress induced imbalances, So
1) I started taking Omega 3 supplements for past 6 months
2) Cut down caffeine from multiple cups to 1 normal cup and 1 decaf in the morning
3) Meditation and hydration
These changes made an immense help with my headaches, cramps etc., I barely have them anymore just a lil tired on that time of the month thats it.
Excedrin fir migraine worked for me. Start off with half.
Magnesium, a lot of water, sometimes excedrin
For headaches - I will only take excedrin. Ibuprofen is for inflammation.
Are you drinking enough water? You need even more water when you are on your cycle. Also how much caffeine are you consuming? Your body is also more sensitive to caffeine on your cycle.
I definitely don’t drink enough water and too much coffee. Could be it.
