Anyone gone from a Manager role to an IC role? What was your experience like?

What are some great paying fields/position that are lesser known in the world of finance and are not crazy hard to lateral into? With around a year of experience in asset management/operations, I always try to think about what my career path will be and so far it has been ever changing.

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

Any pharmacist in industry and willing to give some advice on getting in? I’m a clinical pharmacist looking at roles in industry and wondering what positions fit someone who has practiced as a clinical pharmacist in oncology, critical care, and internal medicine who has not done a fellowship? I’ve seen medical science liaison, scientific associate, and market research, any other roles to look into? Thanks.

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. Does Next Gen issue a formal report for PGS testing results? I had my embryos tested and my clinic just told me which were normal and abnormal. No other info on embryos ratings, etc. they could have not even sent it in for all I know!
