Are there any CA family law firms looking to contract out work (legal research, drafting briefs, disclosures, forms, discovery, etc.)? I have over 6 years of experience and am well-versed in family code and case law. (My attorney is on family leave so we don't have the workload I'm used to right now, and my husband might be switching jobs with a pay cut, so it wouldn't hurt to earn some extra money.) Thanks!

Careful with conflicts, your current firm may not agree to let the new firm know what matters you are working on.

Thank you. I won't be taking any contract work in counties we have cases in, so that should weed out most potentially conflicts.

This question is probably beaten to death. I think I am not eligible to contribute to Roth IRA as our joint income is more than 200k. I have 401k but spouse doesn’t have a employer provided plan. I would like to contribute as much as possible to a IRA. Can I put as much as I want to a IRA, deduct 6000$ as tax deductible and rest (as much as I want) as nondeductible ? Or should I open two separate Ira account to keep things simple ?
